Wordmark
Referencing phonetic typography in written language, the wordmark expresses the non-linear nature of human progress.
As business becomes more casual there is an opportunity for men’s fashion to once more be expressive. Pocktie seeks the bold and exciting from the best eras of mens fashion to craft one of kind, sustainable pocket squares to spice up
your everyday work-wear. With the purchase of only 1 Pocktie, you’ll be able to wear a new style nearly every weekday as each product comes with 4 different patterns.
About Me
As business becomes more casual there is an opportunity for men’s fashion to once more be expressive.
“We twisted and contorted patterns found in the various Pocktie and paired them with carefully selected vintage printed satire…”
To Recycling and Beyond
printed satire from the public domain. This gives the brand identity a consistently unique digital presence. We packaged each product in envelopes made with recycled paper allowing for an economic and
environmentally friendly alternative to complicated packaging. Each one of these consumer touch-points help to communicate the sophisticated quirk of Pocktie.
Dynamic Creativity
One of the primary differentiators between human beings and all other living creatures, is that we are consistently outdoing ourselves creatively. Every piece of the identity calls back to the dynamic and ever-changing expression of human creativity. Attempting to summarize the constantly evolving nature of humanity is a daunting one.
In order to tackle this challenge, I looked at hundreds of references throughout history of the human form through paintings, comics, film, athletics, etc. so that I can thoroughly depict humanity throughout time.I summarized the human form through abstract gestural sketches using tempera as a nod to some of the earliest evidence of human creativity.
Our goal was to show the many permutations of humanity through as many different emotional and physical states as possible within as many different bodies as I can physically manifest.
